Katy Church - Founder
Kadence Music Studio was founded by Katy Church to provide a place where people can learn to play piano and explore their love of music. Katy graduated from Cedarville University with a degree in Piano Pedagogy, and has spent more than two decades developing a personalized approach to learning piano that brings together technical excellence with emotional engagement so that each student can learn to play what they love to the best of their abilities. My philosophy of teaching is that everyone should be able to have the opportunity to play and experience the music that gives them the most joy. I provide each student the opportunity to try a wide variety of musical styles, and tailor the curriculum to fit their individual needs and goals.
